Maria has studied with the top belly dancers and instructors in the industry such as world famous Sadie (Raks Sharki style), Rachel Brice (Tribal Fusion Style), Mohamed Kazafy (Egyptian, Reda Technique, Saidi/Saedy), Dalia Carella (Gypsy/Roma style) , Jaya Vaswani (Bollywood), Portia Lange (Raks Sharki), 2011 Bellydance Masters Intensive workshop with Mia Sha'uri, Karen Barbee and Naser Musa, and Suhaila Salimpour in 2012. She also has training in a variety of dance styles such as Polynesian, Flamenco, Brazilian Samba, Colombian, Salsa, Caribbean and more through years of instructor certifications and workshops.
In 2010 Maria received her Belly Dance Instructor Certification in the Classical Egyptian Raks Sharki style.
Maria is the preferred Belly Dancer for two of the best musicians in Central Florida. Contact Maria today to include a musician at your event, or to book them individually. One is an Arabic "One Man Show"- Singer, Keyboardist and Percussionist who performs weekly Middle Eastern shows and special events with Maria. The other is a Greek Bouzouki Master who sings and plays the bouzouki also in weekly shows and special events with Maria. He is a seasoned professional in playing both Greek and Arabic music for belly dancers.

Snake Charming: Maria is one of the few snake charmers in Central Florida. Her 2 larger snakes are experienced and have a long reputation (9 years) of performing without ever hurting anyone, so rest assured! Maria is also fully insured and licensed by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission to display and maintain non-venomous reptiles. They enjoy being photographed and are very calm and friendly. If you are hesitant about snakes, you don't have to worry as they have no fangs, no venom and don't bite! They are happiest when entertaining crowds at theme parks and events and are used to being in this environment. They are very clean and not slimy as some people expect!
Maria offers educational snake shows great for kid's birthday parties, or belly dancing for you with one or more of her snakes! Both her 4.5' ball python, "Andreas" and 6' Colombian Red Tailed Boa, "Slytherin" have been in the entertainment industry for about 9 years! The youngest is little sister "Cornelia", a 3' Corn Snake.
