Beginning her studies of Belly Dance in Baja California, Mexico with the instructor, choreographer and dancer Liza Martinez, “Dulce Belly Dance” began to take different courses of specialization in this dance, taking workshops in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and also in San Diego, California with instructor Ana, learning more about improvisation.
After several presentations in the theater of the Autonomous University of Baja California and later as a member of the “Kandisha Group”, “Dulce Belly Dance” in 2009 moved to Florida, beginning to take classes with the instructor and belly dancer Sherry Coffey and later with “Ansuya” when she opened her studio in the city.
In Florida “Dulce Belly Dance” performed several individual and group presentations with local dancers. September 2010 “Dulce Belly Dance” traveled to Miami, FL to take workshops on “Miami Belly Dance Convention, taking seminars with Sherri (LA), Tamra Henna (CA), Yamil Annum (Argentina) and Jihan Jamal (Miami, FL). At “Miami Belly Dance Convention”, “Dulce Belly Dance” performed with the group of advanced students from Ansuya’s Studio.
