Karina B, only 24 of age, is a well known instructor in Hong Kong.
She started teaching at the age of 19 and has over 9 years of belly dance training.
She loves all styles of dance as she has studied Bollywood, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Salsa etc but her main passion is Belly Dance both classical and fusion.
She is a very open minded and creative instructor with a technical approach to her teaching.
Her main teachers are Mey Jen (HK) and Suhaila Salimpour (USA) however she has studied with some of the world’s most famous belly dance instructors such as Mahmoud Reda, Nour, Tamalyn Dallal, Hadia, Raqia Hassan, Dr Mo Geddawi, Khaled Mahmoud, Randa Kamel and many more. She currently holds Suhaila Salimpours Level 1 certification and is in training for her level 2 exam in Easter 2011.
Karina B also teaches Bollywood Dance and has choreographed and performed in concerts for local pop stars. She has made several live TV appearances as well as been on local newspapers and magazines. Karina B and her sister (Alisha B) have their duet group called “The Queen B’s” which perform regularly in special events in Hong Kong.
Karina B is the founder of her dance troupe “The Jewels Of Bellywood” which consist of her students that perform Bellydance and Bollywood around Hong Kong.
