Naïra first started to practise the modern jazz dance when she was 7 years old and had a classical and contemporary dancing education within the National Conservatory of Boulogne Billancourt. Naïra has discovered the belly dance in 1999; she has been trained by worldwide known teachers such as Fatima Chekkor or Mayodi, and then decided to be taught by the masters of belly dance and therefore decided to pursue her dancing education in Cairo (with Randa Kamel, Mahmoud Reda, Gaby Shiba, Raqia Hassan, Magdy El Leisy...).
Naïra is teaching belly dance since 2003 and belongs to Companies such as Shehrazad, El Hayet, Nawal Benabdallah and the Navasart Armenian Ballet, and has also participated to the creation of the Samaya Company in 2006.
She has danced on worldwide known scenes such as the Palais des Congres of Paris, the Trianon Theatre of Paris, Dejazet Theatre, Cabaret Sauvage, the “Institut du Monde Arabe” of Paris, the Palais des Congres of Marseille, the Odeon Theatre of Bucarest, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Egypt, The Royal Golf of Agadir (Marocco), the Sheraton hotel of Alger…
Naïra has participated to the television programs « Hezzi ya nawaeem – World Belly Dance Championship » in Lebanon, and “Studio 2M” in Marocco. She has danced at different occasions such as Miss Maghreb election in 2006, the Salon of Tourism in Paris, the Orient of the Dance – second belly dance festival of Paris, and also at the occasion of the Cairo festival. She has danced for the summer seasons at the Touareg Village in France from 2005 to 2007; and also does private parties, various receptions, galas…
