Born in Pisa in Italy of a mom who was a dancer within a company managed by an ex-principal dancer of the Scala of Milan and a dancer dad who made some appearances in the Italian cinema of the 60’s, also fascinated by Art and by restoration of antiquities.
Child, Esmeralda makes her first steps in ballet dance. In the adolescence, her curiosity manages her towards other dances to discover their various energies. She also practises the Volleyball in competition as well as the athletics.
The artistic influence of his father drove her to follow a programme of higher studies of Graphic Design at the School of Fine Arts. In parallel, Esmeralda takes courses of singing by way of the «Studio des Variétés» of Paris. Singing develops her musical listening and her sensibility in the expression of the vocal emotion. In 1998, She discovers the oriental dance with Yasmine (ex-student of Leila Haddad and Myriam Douiou - Paris). This new passion appears as a revelation, an evidence and signs the outcome of her artistic quest. In mind of the rigor of ballet dance, she follows courses and perfection trainings with the greatest names of the oriental dance and folklores, particularly in Egypt.
All these creative experiences confer her a unusual artistic expression and make her becoming an accomplished artist whose philosophy is: "the body sings the music, the movement draws in the space and the emotion is the soul’s voice".
Esmeralda lives and teaches the oriental dance in Metz (France), has create various and specials shows ordered by the University or festivals in her region. She will teach and perform in June 2011 in "Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival" from Madam Raqia Hassan.
