In Arabic, Negma means Star - litaral translation of my Japanese family name.
My belly dance career began 9years ago at Karima Arabian Dance Co in Tokyo, Japan. during my time with KAD, I danced at many events,clubs and restaurants in the Tokyo and Yokohama area.
In 2007, I moved to Vancouver Canada and continued performing at various venues around the city as well as teaching belly dance. In 2009, I moved to Dubai UAE and studied with Lydia Tzigane - one of Dubai's first and most famous dancers.
I danced primarily at Dubai Drums desert events and also at various local weddings and private parties as well as held regular classes at well-known hotels. I have just moved back to Vancouver Canada and have started classes and performing again.
I also perform and conduct workshops in Tokyo Japan on occasion.
